Natural thermal pool, in the middle of the ocean, where the water temperature exceeds 30º Celsius, during low tide. The Farol da Ferraria, inaugurated in 1901, is worth a visit and is on the path of the Pedestrian Trail Pico das Camarinhas - Ponta da Ferraria.
Watch a spectacular sunset. Feel the immensity of the sea. On the right side, you have a beautiful view over the picturesque parish of Mosteiros.
Relax on the dark sands of Praia dos Mosteiros or on the basaltic rocks of the natural pools. After an invigorating bath in the water at a pleasant temperature, have lunch or dinner with some beautiful Grilled Lapas and Octopus Roasted in the Oven at the Gazcidla Restaurant or Américo Barbosa Restaurant.
Lagoa das Sete Cidades is one of the 7 wonders of Portugal and the ex-libris of the Azores. Vista do Rei provides an absolutely breathtaking view. Other viewpoints, such as Boca do Inferno and Cerrado das Freiras, are also worth a visit. In the parish we recommend a visit to the Church of São Nicolau, resting on the banks of Lagoas. If you're feeling hungry, have lunch at one of the self-service restaurants serving typical Azorean food, São Nicolau or Lagoa Azul.
Located in Serra Devassa, in Sete Cidades, it is a forest space that presents some of the most beautiful landscapes on the island and an extraordinary botanical richness. For this reason, the park is located in an area classified as a Protected Landscape. Next to this lagoon is the Miradouro da Grota do Inferno, which allows you to enjoy a panoramic view over some of the lagoons existing here.
A breathtaking view over the central and narrowest part of the island. On the south side we see Ponta Delgada and Lagoa. On the north side, the city of Ribeira Grande and other parishes. In front, the majestic Fogo Mountain where, in its interior, is the Lagoa do Fogo.
